Pyschology
Psychology is the scientific study of mind and behavior in both humans and non-humans. It is an academic discipline of immense scope, crossing the boundaries between the natural and social sciences.
I took an introductory psych college course when I was 14 and then fucked off after completing it, that's the extent of my official expertise with this field. Unofficially, I have been intensely studying the minds and behaviors of others my whole life, for reasons that are obvious to those who look over the following pages of this site:

apophenia: tendency to perceive a connection/meaningful pattern between unrelated/random things
chūnibyō (中二病): Japanese colloquial term typically used to describe early teens who have grandiose delusions, who desperately want to stand out, and who have convinced themselves that they have hidden knowledge or secret powers. It translates to "middle-second syndrome".
dyslogia: inability to express ideas due to faulty reasoning or speech
erotomania: paranoid condition characterized by an individual's delusions of another person being infatuated with them
gestalt: something that is made of many parts and yet is somehow more than or different from the combination of its parts
hypergraphia: a behavioral condition characterized by the intense desire to write or draw
mnesic/mynestic: of or pertaining to memory, Mnemosyne
pareidolia: the perception of a recognizable image/meaningful pattern where none exists/is intended
prägnanz: concise/meaningful, pithiness, gestalt principle of sensory/perception organization
priming: psychological phenomenon that consists in early stimulus influencing later thoughts and behavior
prosopagnosia: face blindness, a form of visual agnosia characterised by difficulty with face recognition despite intact low-level visual processing
reverie: the state of being pleasantly lost in one’s thoughts
suggestibility: a form of misattribution where ideas suggested by a questioner are mistaken for memory
