Emojis have always kinda irked me. Seeing their patch of color in the midst of consistent-looking text just slightly disrupts my mind's focus on the writing. Are there any emoji sets that can be the same color/line-width/size/etc as the letters & punctuation themselves? The language-independent nature of these lil' pictures appeals to me, but I'd only actually use them if my brain could read the sentences they occupy in an elegant manner.
